Yes this is a true story. Laura couldn’t postpone her theory test any longer …

This is a typical behaviour in our household. Suddenly one of us would run to the other excitedly … then the “one with the news” would then pause, while the other one is trying to get information on what’s got them excited. However, the “one with the news” would not respond (most likely in shock or processing the information) for a few minutes.
